Sabine Giorgi: Into the wild nature animator
Sabine is a globetrotter at heart! She started her professional career at the age of 16 as a tour operator and international tourist guide in 1986, while graduating from the art school in 1987, followed by a year at the Beaux Arts Academy in Rome. At the age of 23, she became Manager of the excursion department on the cruise ship Stella Solaris in 1993 and continued to sail from one end to the other of the world until 2014. Her fascination with the natural world though developed early in her childhood and today she feels complete only surrounded by flowers and trees, possibly along a coastline bordered by the sea. Passionate about everything related to botany and health through alternative medicines, she has quickly leaned towards herbalism and the use of plants, with which she treats herself since adolescence. She hopes to be able to transmit some of their secrets and virtues, which are too often forgotten and/or underestimated. Her travel experiences around the globe from the Brazilian rain forest, to the wild Panama Canal ecosystem, down to the Antarctica protected area, have deeply marked and enriched her view and perception of the environment. She wishes to protect and preserve it through education by raising people's awareness of today's biodiversity issues.
